What to do once you’ve completed a registration to use NFI Online

For more information on how to register, please visit our Register page

If you've recently registered to use NFI Online, you should ensure that the registration process has been fully completed and you have waited at least two working hours after completing step 2.

You must be registered with both MTE and Nationwide For Intermediaries (NFI). You won't be able to log in to NFI Online until this is fully completed.

Registering with Nationwide is a two-step process:

  • If you've not already done so, you must register with MTE. You will then need to wait two working hours before completing step 2.
  • After two working hours, please return to the NFI Online login screen. When you login for the first time, you'll automatically be taken through step 2 of the registration.
  • Once you’ve completed step 2, we’ll confirm your registration within eight working hours following the submission of your registration. You'll receive a confirmation email once this has been approved. You'll then be able to login and create a case.

If your password has any symbols in it, NFI Online will not be able to accept it as valid. Please log in to MTE, select the ‘Change Password’ option and update your password using only letters and numbers. You’ll need to wait 2 hours after they reset before being able to log in to NFI Online with your updated details.

NFI Online is stating that you’re not registered, or your account is terminated

If you’ve successfully logged in to NFI Online in the last 12 months, you should contact our Registrations team via Broker Chat for further help.

If you’ve not used NFI Online in the last 12 months, you’ll need to complete a new registration. For more information on how to register, please visit our Register page.

Looking to register with a firm you were registered with previously

If you're re-joining a company you've previously worked for, you'll need to register again with MTE. Once you've completed this, you’ll need to complete your registration with NFI or The Mortgage Works by following a different registration process.
