Useful tips for when you’ve registered
What to do if you’ve forgotten your login details
If you've forgotten your user ID, password or PIN, you can request for it to be reset by completing the Mortgage Brain Contact Form.
NFI Online telling you that you’re locked out
If you’ve been locked out but you know your log in details, contact our Registrations team via Broker Chat to get your account unlocked.
What to do once you’ve completed a registration to use NFI Online
We'll update our records within 8 working hours following the submission of your registration and you'll receive a confirmation email once this has been approved. You'll then be able to log in and submit cases.
You must be registered with both MTE and Nationwide For Intermediaries (NFI). You won't be able to log in to NFI Online until this is fully completed.
For more information on how to register, please visit our Register page.
What to do if NFI Online is telling you that you’re not registered, or your account has been terminated
If you’ve not used NFI Online in the last 12 months, you’ll need to complete a new registration. For more information on how to register, please visit our Register page.
If NFI Online is telling you that your password is invalid
If your password has any symbols in it, NFI Online will not be able to accept it as valid. Please log in to MTE, select the ‘Change Password’ option and update your password using only letters and numbers. You’ll need to wait 2 hours after they reset before being able to log in to NFI Online with your updated details.
Registering with a firm you were registered with previously
If you're re-joining a company you've previously worked for, you'll need to register again with MTE. Once you've completed this, you’ll need to complete your registration with NFI or The Mortgage Works by following a different registration process.
