From Monday 6 March, we're making some changes to our system that'll allow us to move to multi-credit bureaus. This means we'll be able to provide a more informed Decision in Principle (DIP) to your client.
To make these changes, NFI Online and NFI MTE will be unavailable from 9:30pm Friday 3 March until 6am Monday 6 March. We're sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
Ahead of these changes, we'll be adopting the following approach to pipeline cases to minimise disruption to your client's applications:
For applications at DIP stage as at 3 March:
You'll need to submit your applications by 5pm on Friday 3 March.
For any applications not fully submitted by this time:
When re-entering the application, NFI Online and NFI MTE will prompt you to complete any new questions relevant to your client's case.
Following our move to multi-credit bureaus, some decisions will change from an 'accept' decision to a 'refer'. If this happens you might be asked to upload additional proofs:
- If you haven't made any changes to the application, you don't need to upload additional proofs. Instead, we'll automatically review it and change it to an accept, which we'll aim to do within 48 hours.
- If you have made a change to the application, you'll need to upload all the proofs asked for before we can review the decision and get back in touch.
For applications submitted before 3 March requiring material change:
You can continue to call 0800 464 3000 but now select option 2, then option 4. You may be asked to provide some additional information from your client.
