With immediate effect we are making some changes to our criteria for customers who are looking to port their existing product. Keep reading this email for full details and for information on how to submit applications for affordable housing schemes with a restricted resale price.
With immediate effect we will no longer accept non-simultaneous porting applications where a client wishes to return to Nationwide having already redeemed their mortgage account
Non-simultaneous porting applications that have already been submitted or discussed with Nationwide will continue to be processed as normal
Clients who currently hold a live Nationwide mortgage and wish to move house can still apply to port their mortgage product (subject to lending criteria and affordability)
Joint borrowers parting company are no longer able to split their product and port it to their new separate purchases, however, one of the joint borrowers will still be able to port all or part of their product.
Affordable Housing Schemes
If your client is purchasing or remortgaging a property that is subject to a Resale Price Restriction (normally under a section 106 agreement), these applications must be submitted to us via a paper application.
