Booking Fees

A non-refundable booking fee applies when reserving all products (including those without a product fee) excluding Additional Borrowing. This fee can not be added to the loan, and must be paid at reservation. Please check product information for details of the booking fee applicable to each product.

Applications received without this booking fee will be returned or cancelled and no product will be reserved.

With product fee

Your client can pay the product fee to reserve their chosen product when they apply or can add it to their loan, the total of the loan plus the fee must not exceed the client's affordable amount.

If they add it to their loan, they will be charged interest on it during the term of the loan. Booking fees can not be added to the loan.

If your client is not adding the fee to the loan, the product fee must be sent with the application. Once we receive the application and the fee, the product will be reserved for your client so that even if it changes or is withdrawn they will still get the product they applied for.

Your clients will have 90 days from the day after product reservation to complete the application process and be in receipt of an offer. The product fee is non-refundable at completion.

Without product fee

A selected number of our mortgages are available with or without a product fee. If your client chooses the no product fee option they will pay a higher rate of interest over the deal period. They will also pay a non refundable booking fee upon reservation. Your clients will have 90 days from the day after product reservation to complete the application process and be in receipt of an offer.

Note on reservation fees

For mortgages reserved on or before the 4th March 2010 the product fee was known as a reservation fee.
